Your Questions Answered

Below you’ll find answers to some of the more common questions I’ve received. Read on to learn more about my services and what I’ve done to help my clients in pursuit of their goals. How are the private sessions?

Fun! The sessions are Online, you can be anywhere in the world! they are 100% conversational! This is the fastest and most effective way to improve a language skill.

 

How long is each private session?

Each session is 50 minutes long.

What kind of Programsoftware/tech do I need?

Pilar’s preferable program is SKYPE, but she can also connect with you on Facetime, Whatsapp or ZOOM.

You need the basics, a good internet connection and a device to connect to it, such as a smart phone, tablet, laptop, or computer. Make sure your internet and camera are ready! 

Can I be assigned "missions"  to complete in between sessions?

This is on you, will you put on the time? Pila likes to give an assignment at the end of each session. Each mission is intended to reinforce and build upon the lesson content and skills developed during the coaching session. Each mission you receive will be expected to be completed prior to the next session. She highly recommends doing this, but you don't have to.

Will I be personally coached by Pilar Cazares? 

Yes, Pila herself will give you your coaching sessions directly.

Can a friend or family member attend a session as well?

At the moment, all of Pila’s sessions are one-on-one only. Learners who have not paid the session may not attend. 

What payment methods do you use?

Paypal and/or email transfer.

How long do I have in order to use all of my private language sessions before they expire?

Upon purchase, your sessions have an expiration of 6 months. Plenty of time!

What if I need help preparing for something specific, like an interview, a trip, a presentation, an exam… etc?

You are at the perfect place! Each of your sessions is tailored to your own needs, goals and wants.

What happens if I need to reschedule a session?

No problem! You can reschedule your session as long as it is 24 hours before our scheduled meeting time.  If you cancel it within the 24-hour period, then the lesson will be considered paid, regardless of attendance.

What happens if Pilar needs to reschedule a session?

If Pilar needs to reschedule a session, she will notify you before the scheduled meeting time.
